
Cold Recruiting Audio
There are people all around you, every single day that would love to have the OurGV opportunity shared with them. They are never going to come up to you and recruit themselves, so we have to take initiative and present ourselves to them. It could be someone in the mall, grocery store, at the gas pump, restaurant, airplane, anywhere, anytime, anyplace. People have become millionaire's in the home business industry and found people that became millionaire's by being aggressive and learning how to get their numbers up higher by cold recruiting in addition to their other methods.
There's not so much of a technique in cold recruiting. Just do it. Get out of the comfort zone. Don't come across as soliciting like a sales person, but thinking about building relationships. Do it in a way that's easy, so there's no frustration which causes you to slow down or give up. Start by taking a notepad along and writing down names from name tags and the place you encountered the individual. Then call the place where you met the individual, and talk to them. You can say things like "Hey, I liked how you dealt with the customers. I thought you were a very sharp person. Are you keeping your options open?" "I work as a recruiter for an international marketing company and would love to email you some details and we can go from there".
Keep in mind that beyond recruiting the individual, we are also recruiting their connections: other potential affiliates, non-profit organizations, and website partners.
We have to approach this as us helping them change their lives. We need to be careful not to prejudge people when cold recruiting. It's people we want - not just web packages.
Most of cold recruiting is just like everything in life, a learning process. We will get better and better as time goes on. We will never sign them all up nor do we need to, in order to have success. Get the numbers up, keep with it, grow until it seems so simple that it is just like your primary language.
