We all have our theoretical "tops of the mountain".  For some of us the mountain top is to reach financial independence, others freedom of time, travel, family, more to donate to our favorite cause, and the list can go on and on.  The climb is hard, but we must never lose faith and quit.  Successful people throughout history have all had challenges to overcome and obstacles that seemed to always get in their way. The key to their success, was that they kept their eye on the mountain top and tried to limit the amount of rocks they put into their backpack.

If we pick up every little obstacle and put it into our backpack, there will eventually be too much weight forcing us to stop.  If we learn that life always has  obstacles and it is the successful person that learns to limit their effect, we will overcome.  Throw the obstacle aside, and keep moving.

What will reaching your mountain top truly mean to you?  Many of us have not thought about it enough or have not fully explored what hitting your goals will mean to you and those around you.  If our eyes are so focused on the top, we won't notice the little annoying rocks.  Write your list and keep it close by.  What does it feel like to be at the top? What does it mean to others around you? What does hitting all your goals mean in all areas of your life?  It will probably give you 10x of what you can even imagine.
