Some merchants do not allow affiliates to pay referral fees back to customers as a form of a rebate. Due to relatively slim retail margins, the referral fees paid can only be sustained as new customers are met through certain affiliate programs. In order to keep the Associates/Affiliate Program viable for certain merchants, association with rebate-oriented sites will not be accepted. Anytime a merchant fits into this category, it will be classified as N/A (Not Applicable).
